Regarding his artistic process, Nuca states: "In the creative process the artist is in a continuous dialogue with himself. It is a permanent conscious of his spiritual component. The question is not 'where I am from?' or ‘where am I going?' but 'who am I?” "Regardless of thematic or artistic style, my works are the materialisation of feelings, a spiritual catalyst toward the art lover. If life is creation... then my life is art".

The German art critic and pedagogue, Reinhold Schuster wrote about the Nuca's work:
"Nuca's pieces act as painted dreams - delicate, self-dissolving spirit images of a world beyond our physical touch. His paintings are light recordings of passing instants, dissected into vibrant, dynamic sides. His reduced color palette, thus, avoids any possible emotional irritation. His creations are a convincing construction of color, light, nature and landscape - style-wise somewhere between Cezanne and Feininger. Nuca's painting induces a state of dreaming, of thinking further, and, as a follow up to his characters and landscapes, invites the viewer to a journey into that which is beyond the primarily noticeable reality perceived at a first glance."
